CODE Documentation

CODE(Connect Digital Exchanges) is a Travel Rule solution created by leading virtual asset exchanges in South Korea to comply with global regulations on the transfer of virtual assets.

Developed directly by virtual asset exchanges, CODE arises from a deep understanding of the challenges facing the VASP(Virtual Asset Service Provider) landscape. CODE is committed to creating an environment that facilitates easy, secure, and fully compliant virtual asset transfers.

Feature 1 - Encrypted communication for privacy protection

All user information is encrypted when transferred via CODE to ensure privacy protection. Encrypted personal information can only be decrypted by a originating VASP and the beneficiary VASP; CODE cannot access the user's personal information. This method of encrypted communication ensures a safe and reliable communication environment.

Feature 2 - Practical features

We not only ensure regulatory compliance but also address practical issues faced by VASPs in the field. To alleviate burdensome transactions for both customers and VASPs, CODE offers various features such as 'Search VASP by Wallet' and 'Search VASP by TXID'.

Pre-Travel Rule, Post-Transaction

This is standard type of virtual asset transfer process. The verification step before executing the withdrawal request is designed to prevent unnecessary transmission of user information caused by incorrect requests.

Pre-Transaction, Post-Travel Rule

This process ensures compliance of post-onchain transactions by acquiring travel rule data in reverse order.
